Scheme Preparation and Contract Administration

You may be daunted by the prospect of undertaking a building project and liaising with building contractors. In addition to structural design and detailing we can prepare a schedule of works including contract conditions, obtain tender quotations, act as contract administrator and periodically inspect work in progress in accordance with the Association of Consultancy and Engineering ‘Conditions of Engagement’.

Contract administration duties include setting commencement and completion dates, ensuring appropriate insurances are in place, certifying work complete or payments due to the contractor, issuing additions or omissions instructions to the contractor as work progresses, periodically inspecting work in progress and determining if work is adequate.
