About Us

The company was established by Rob (Edward Arthur Robin) Sheppard in 1962 in Bexhill and was initially involved with highway construction and drainage works.

In 1965 the Practice was re-located to Eastbourne at Chiswick Place.  Since that time it has continued to develop, expanding its involvement to incorporate a broader range of civil and structural engineering disciplines.  In 1981 we opened our office in Hastings to better serve our expanding client base.

We are members of the Association of Consultancy and Engineering.

Our team of Technical Directors is:

Ian Coupland: BEng CEng MICE MIStructE Joined the company in 2005

Richard Sheppard: BEng CEng MICE Joined the company in 1996

Roger Bunney: IEng AMIStructE joined the company in 1974  

Our founder Eur Ing Rob Sheppard CEng MICE FCIArb continues to have an active role as a consultant to the company
